Story: The Lincoln and Welland Regiment sends letter
Date: December 2019
After the special weekend of 75 years of liberation, the
Canadian soldiers returned home. In the meantime, I was
especially allowed to record the special story of
Commander Cincio in a large article.
I also sent all the photos and the articles to Canada, so that
they too could recall all those special moments.
I was pleasantly surprised when I received an official letter
from The Lincoln and Welland Regiment in which they
thanked the city of Bergen op Zoom for the special
reception, but also in which I was personally thanked for
my articles and photos, as well as the war book that I had
handed over to Mr. Cincio.
