Allow me to introduce myself

My name is John Franken, but everybody calls
me Sonn.

• I am the seventh member of a post-war

working-class family of eight children.

• Despite the fact that my parents were

financially not well off, I had a very rich
childhood. With four sisters and three

brothers around me, I always felt protected

and enjoyed the company. In the attached
conservatory there was always room for family

and friends at the dining table.
